"Trunk or Treat" is
Wednesday, October 26th beginning with dinner at
5:30 p.m. Dinner is free for first time visitors!
Trunk or Treat begins at 6:15. Bring your candy bag
or bucket and wear your favorite costume. This is a
free event for all |

Pet Blessing Service

South Covered Entry Area
Bring your pet on a leash or bring a photo. The
church will
be collecting DRY dog food, towels and fleece
blankets for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
Bring our pet & your donation. Pets need to be on a
leash.

Scout Troop 21:
Troop 21 sponsored by the Bluff Park United
Methodist Church, on Valley Street, will be selling
cut Christmas tree as we do on an annual basis
between the Korean Church and the BPUMC on Valley
from the day after Thanksgiving until the 20th or so
in December. The trees and wreaths are special
ordered from South Carolina, the sales of which
consist of the Troop's operations budget for the
year. |

The
blessing of the animals will be on Sun., Oct. 23, at
4 pm. St Alban’s invite people, esp children, to
bring their pets or even stuffed animals to have
them blessed. It is a fairly short service (about 30
mins) and if weather permits, will be outside. We
will have a special guest veterinarian on hand to
answer questions about your animal's health.

Also, on Sun., Dec. 18, at 10 am, we will celebrate
the season with a service of Lessons and Carols.
This is a traditional program of Christmas and
Advent music, interspersed with scripture readings.
Everyone is invited and all are most welcome. |
