If your not going to take the ghost and goblins on a traditional door to door trick or treat there are several Halloween alternatives in the area. Here are a few: 

Chapel in the Pines Church

PUMPKIN PATCH  Saturday, October 17th with sales through Saturday, October 31st.   

TRUNK OR TREAT Wednesday, October 28th following dinner at 5:30p (free for first time visitors).  Lots of exciting activities planned including games, cookie decorating, and a “Bake Walk”.  Contact the church office at 822-4210 if you have any questions.  Chapel in the Pines, 2269 Chapel Rd., Bham, Al 35226

Shades Crest Baptist Church

 

Trunk or Treat Fall Party Wednesday evening, October 28, from 5:00 - 7:00 in front parking lot.  It will include games, candy, prizes, face painting and other fun activities.  There will be hot dogs, chili, nachos, potato chips, cookies and drinks available for sale Everyone's welcome.  

 

Bluff Park United Methodists Church

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL Wednesday, October 28 6:00-8:00pm
(Dinner begins at 5:30) Come in your Costume!
Fun for the Whole Family - All Ages Welcome! 

 

City of Hoover

The City is having a Hoover Hayride and Family Night at Veterans Park (4800 Jaguar Drive off Valleydale Road) between 6 pm and 9pm Friday 10/30/09. We encourage the kids to wear costumes. There will be Hotdogs at the concession stand, we will give out candy and we will have a hayride that goes half way around the lake, movies will be shown.

Kids should dress up in their costumes.


All the volunteers and City Employees working will be in costume – nothing scary – It's geared for the little kids.
